Consumer Opinion Services is looking for a large number of male tobacco users for an upcoming study. It's I hr and pays $75 cash.

Call 503-281-1270, ask for Chris (he told me to pass his number around for this one). He will pre-screen you with a bunch of questions.
If you're selected you'll get an email inviting you to the focus group.

You can also sign up with them to do focus groups other stuff. Get on the mailing list via website I think. Ive been paid $125 for an hour of BS'n here.

Ti Cycles is looking for someone. There's an ad on BikePortland: http://bikeportland.org/2014/08/06/job-general-shop-assistant-ti-cycles-fabrication-109856

not a framebuilding job, but maybe relevant to a chris king bro's interests?

UPS is always hiring. I have a couple of friends who work/have worked there and it seems decent.
  • MiguelMiguel Riding Level: 2,324
Yep. Union, health care, equal employment. Great place to start, a possible place to retire.

I used to work for UPS seasonally, so I'll check that cause it was pretty great gig. Cheers,

If you're moving here from California please turn around and go back, there's too many of you here already. Also, get off my lawn

My buddy got the Ti Cycles gig.

maybe one day they'll be looking for a welder. sent Chris King a resume to see if Ceilo was looking for welders when I first moved here, probably went into the garbage.

Racing/Automotive welding is bumming me out lately.

This town rules for so many reasons, so instead of complaining about "Californians" or whatever the fuck, how about enjoy what you have, because at this rate who knows how long it's going to last.

I will agree with the Chinese food statement. Hot Plate in Beaverton is awesome and Zien Hong is good too, but that's about it.

    A) What criteria are you using where "best buttermilk" and "best old fashioned" go to two different places? Old fashioned donuts are (almost) basically fancy-shaped buttermilks, atmo.
    B) Buttermilks are my favorite donut, and I've had the ones from Annie's, and the ones from Tonalli's on Alberta are better. However, donut shop atmosphere at Annie's is 10x anywhere else in town.
