I will forever love 90s GT triple triangle frames... If that were mine I'd go with the Arundle stainless cages.

    same here.
I do wish I had the original fork like my other one:

and those look great! I'm definitely considering those over the king cages.

it is neither a gtb, nor a pulse! this is steel.
reynolds 853 tubing made custom for someone or some team, I think...not really sure.
I recently picked up the road version of my track bike and I am beyond stoked!
I also grew up riding GT bmxs. I've always had a thing for GT's.
Still waiting for the day I run into a Xixang, or even a nice Zaskar.

    Yep def fillet o steel.
If I recall correctly, these were made for the US Track Nationals or US Olympics team.
(not to be confused with the red white & blue ones though)

the weldings are very nice on these frames!
wish I knew the history on them.
from what I've read, it probably was some Serotta dude and built in Longmont for the road.

    Dialed for what?
Because it clearly cant barspin and bikes dont need lights at the track, so...
  • 2fast2francis Riding Level: 8
I built it for commuter use, hence the lights. But it works perfectly fine on the track. I just need a frameset with better geometry.
  • MiguelMiguel Riding Level: 2,322
    better geometry for what
  • tvcbtvcb Riding Level: 1,388
    For turning down
  • jerryjerry Riding Level: 4,339
    like
  • 2fast2francis Riding Level: 8
Steeper head tube, shorter stays, and a slightly higher BB.

I've been looking to buy the new Cinelli Parallax frameset.

Unless youz guise know of something better. Bear in mind, I'm not looking for anything barspinnable.
  • 2fast2francis Riding Level: 8
    For track use btw
  • S_L_D_S_L_D_ Riding Level: 453
Cinelli frames are meh at a premium price, atmo. They look good.

I wouldn't get yr panties too twisted up about track bike geometry. come out and race, run what ya brung.

Personally I wouldn't buy a race bike that's not carbon these days.
  • jerryjerry Riding Level: 4,339
if you're not barspinning at the track, you're not winning
