    RACE. CYCLOCROSS. EASY.

I will probably be down to ride around in some dirt earlier. My brother will have a shitty mtb to ride!

Because my brother is visiting and I already have everything planned. I want to have a bbq at my house. IF you don't want to come, that's cool.

When my brother visits I see him for like two hours around lunch time. We don't plan, things just happen. Normally around lunch.

I just don't wanna stop riding my bike but I want to eat meat snacks fresh off the BBQ. Can our powers combined make this possible?

jen: what time and where is your bbq?

everyone else: we mash down toward the golf course by Reed, pre-run a few quick race ideas me and jeneral-hula have, then we do an ultimate gravel stomp through all those undeveloped roads between there and where I think jens place is, getting grillables and mini pizzas on the way

I like this idea. Anytime after 5:30 - my house is near Reed at 46th and Cora (4307 se 46th) I might try to get in on this gravel shit!

@mixtieme my brother is in town to stay with me and doesn't know anyone else here. Not like, a business trip or anything. He would be totally lost on his own.

has a link to a map of the street surfaces of all of portland. grid F4 (page 25) is the woodstock/reed/safeway area that has a large amount of gravel/non-roads. i figure we can roll down 26th, check out this warehouse-crit course thing, rip through the reed college gravel paths SCREAMING LOUDLY, then roll east to the martins/carlton/tolman/henry streets wasteland of pockmarked dirt disaster, rip it up, hit the safeway on woodstock for food, then bbq it all at jens crib. gosh i'm smart.
